Olayinka who made the announcement on the University community radio Diamond FM, Ibadan on Monday, October 30, said 9,266 applicants out of the 20,949 candidates scored 50 and above in their Post UTME. The Vice-Chancellor further explained that the institution was given the opportunity to admit 7,000 candidates but because of its resolve to expand admission spaces for postgraduate students, it will only consider a few undergraduates. “ UI is the most competitive, we can only admit at most 3,500.
