Saraki reacts to bandits’ attack on Kaduna-bound train, calls for real solutions to insecurity

Troops find wreckage of crashed Alpha Jet in Sambisa Forest

The remains of the aircraft was found almost a year after it crashed. Barely a year after crashing, troops of Operation Desert Sanity have found the wreckage of an Alpha Jet aircraft in Sambisa Forest, Borno State. PDP asks court to declare APC convention illegal

Ahead of the All Progressives Congress (APC)’s national convention holding on Saturday, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has prayed a Federal High Court, Abuja, to declare the planned exercise unconstitutional and illegal. The PDP, In a suit marked: FHC/ABJ/CS/389 2022, also sought a court order deregistering the APC as a political party having failed to meet the requirements of Sections 222(a), 223(b) and 225 of the 1999 Constitution. APC restrains political appointees from voting at national convention

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has suspended action on court orders and motions regarding the defection of Gov. Dave Umahi of Ebonyi and his Deputy, Chief Kelechi Igwe.
