Federal Government approves salary increase for civil servants

The increase takes effect from January 1, 2024. The Federal Government has approved an increase of between 25% and 35% in salary for civil servants across various consolidated salary structures. The Head of Press, National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission (NSIWC), Emmanuel Njoku, announced the development in a statement on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. Njoku said the increases take effect from January 1, 2024.
