Again, Osinbajo presides over FEC meeting

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Wednesday presided over the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.


President Muhammadu Buhari, at present, is in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, attending the third edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) organised by Saudi’s Public Investment Fund (PIF).

Buhari will also proceed to Makkah after the three day conference to perform the Umrah, (lesser pilgrimage) and then to London on a private visit before returning to Abuja.

Osinbajo, had on Oct. 23, presided over FEC meeting when Buhari attended three-day Russia-Africa Summit holding in Sochi, Russia.

Include us on NIDCOM board, Nigerians in Diaspora tells Buhari

Nigerians in Diaspora Organisation (NIDO) on Monday called on President Muhammadu Buhari to include its representatives on the board of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) in accordance with the act establishing the commission. The Chairman of NIDO Europe, Dr Bashir Obasekola, made the call in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on telephone from Moscow, Russia. 24 Abducted Kebbi Schoolgirls Regain Freedom - 'No Ransom Was Paid'

The 24 students abducted from the Government Girls Comprehensive Senior Secondary School (GGCSS) in Maga, Kebbi State, have regained freedom.
