Zamfara Govt. to organise 2-day reception for Buhari campaign team

Gov. Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara said the State Government would organise a two-day reception for President Muhammadu Buhari's re-election Campaign Team visiting the state.

Yari made the announcement on Thursday while briefing journalists on Thursday.

We have made adequate arrangements to receive the APC campaign team led by our amiable President, Muhammadu Buhari.

We have lined up a two-day programme, this coming Saturday and Sunday for the events marking the campaign rally, he said.

He commend members and supporters of our party for their resilience since the crisis started bedevilling the party following its primary elections ahead of the forthcoming general elections which snowballed into divisions in the party and court cases.

NYSC Mobilisation & Academic Standards – Raising quality or adding pressure on students?

On September 29, 2025, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu approved a reform linking the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) mobilisation process to the National Policy for the Nigeria Education Repository and Databank (NERD). By invoking Sections 2(4)(4) and 16(1)(C) of the NYSC Act, Tinubu stated that no graduate, whether from a Nigerian or foreign institution, will be mobilised for or exempted from NYSC without proof of compliance with the NERD policy.
