Less than two weeks to the injury he suffered against Sevilla, Lionel Messi is back in training.

Barcelona star Lionel Messi has returned to training miraculously recovering from an arm injury.

The 31-year-old joined with with his Barcelona teammates for the first time after his injury to the delight of his teammates and supporters.

Messi suffered an arm injury when he collided with Sevilla star Franco Vazquez in a Spanish La Liga match played on Sunday, October 21.

Barcelona released a statement after the encounter that he will miss El Clasico against Real Madrid and is expected to be out of action for up to three weeks.

The statement said, Tests carried out on the first team player Leo Messi have confirmed that he has a fracture of the radial bone in his right arm. He will be out for approximately three weeks."

A post by the official Instagram handle of Barcelona has however revealed that the Argentine superstar is speeding up his recovery by participating in training.

 

In the picture uploaded on social media, Messi is seen without the arm strip he carried to the games against Inter Milan and Real Madrid and seems to be moving more freely.

 

It is unknown if by returning to training, Messi will be able to feature in Barcelona's next league game against Rayo Vallecano scheduled for Saturday,  November 3.

The La Liga September Player of the Month winner is not listed for their Copa Del Rey game against Cultural Leonesca on Wednesday, October 31 but could return to action in their second leg Champions League encounter against Inter Milan on Tuesday, November 6 at the San Siro.
