Celebrity stylist and designer Abbyke Domina launched her 'Tres Chic' collection at Polo Avenue and here's what went down.

The exclusive Trunk Show by Abbyke Domina happened on Sunday, the 26th of August, at The Polo Avenue, Victoria Island. Here's the scoop!

The evening welcomed guests such as Mercy Aigbe, Shina Peller, Jane Michael Ekanem, Efe Tommy, Bimbo Thomas, Mide Martins, Bambam, Pretty Mike, Tonye Garrick, Olar Slim, amongst others.

The women's ready to wear fashion house, Abbyke Domina, was celebrating 5 years of tremendous growth on Sunday by launching their new colorful and flirty collection, "Tres Chic". The collection was vibrant, sophisticated, colourful and romantic. Pieces you could style to wear anywhere.

Abbyke Domina said of her collection “ I decided to make signature Abbyke Domina prints which are only available exclusively at the Trunk Show, it’s an idea I’ve had a for a while. I decide to go for soft and delicate prints. Delicacy can be strong, the facbrics used are soft colours which continue to be a key trend”

 

 

 

The Trunk Show in collaboration with The Polo Avenue had the most relaxing feel, and guests had the most fun. With a variety of Canapes, wine, and champagnes, it was the perfect ambience to shop in style. . The exclusive show also welcomed peformances from various artistes as well as Tomike Alayande as the host of the day. It was an amazing evening of style.

NYSC Mobilisation & Academic Standards – Raising quality or adding pressure on students?

On September 29, 2025, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu approved a reform linking the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) mobilisation process to the National Policy for the Nigeria Education Repository and Databank (NERD). By invoking Sections 2(4)(4) and 16(1)(C) of the NYSC Act, Tinubu stated that no graduate, whether from a Nigerian or foreign institution, will be mobilised for or exempted from NYSC without proof of compliance with the NERD policy.
