Chude Jideonwo once again states that he has been disappointed in President Buhari's performance in office so far.
In an exclusive interview with Pulse, Chude Jideonwo has stated that President Buhari has been a huge disappointment.
In the interview published on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, Chude Jideonwo speaks on how the President has not been able to meet up with the minimal expectations when he entered office in 2015.
Buhari has been a disappointment
"President Buhari has been a major disappointment...I didn't have huge expectations for him but I had minimum expectations. Unfortunately, not only has he failed on those huge expectations, he has failed on the minimum expectations" Jideonwo tells Pulse.

Chude Jideonwo is the co-founder of Red Media and StateCraft Inc which is a "nation building company, with deep expertise in elections, policy, governance, citizen engagement and citizen action."
Why StateCraft Inc worked with him in 2015
StateCraft Inc worked with the Buhari presidential campaign in 2015 during the general elections.
"We believed in him. We believed not just in him...and the fact that he was the best chance for what I have called the democratic ideal and the people's aspiration, which is that we have the right every four years to make judgement on who we have elected to lead our affairs" said Chude Jideonwo on why StateCraft Inc decided to work with the President.
"And so in 2015, he was the best chance to reflect that popular will that's why I particularly supported him" he further said.
Second criticism of President Buhari
This is not the first time Chude Jideonwo is calling out the president. In an interview with Sahara Reporters in January 2018, he said under the Buhari administration, the country hasn't improved.
"His job is done. President Buhari’s job is done. His job was to break the monopoly of the ruling party and make our democracy competitive. He has been hugely successful at that. The country hasn’t improved" he told Sahara Reporters.
"On the fundamentals of it, nothing has moved. There’s a loss of moral authority. His biggest pitch was his moral authority. He doesn’t deserve to continue" he also stated.
For the 2019 elections, Jideonwo has made it known that he will not be working for the President on his re-election campaign.
