The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) on Saturday received another batch of 140 Nigerians stranded from Agadas, Niger Republic. The NEMA Coordinator, Kano Territorial Office, Dr Nuradeen Abdullahi , confirmed this while receiving the returnees in Kano. According to him, the returnees were brought back to Kano at about 9.38 p.m in three luxury buses under the care of the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) from Agadas. The National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested 37 suspected drug users and dealers and seized 820 ampoules of pentazocine injections in Katsina State. The NDLEA Commander in the state, Mr Mohammed Bashir told newsmen on Friday in Katsina that the suspects were arrested within a 24-hour operation. He explained that five of the 37 arrested were suspected drug dealers, while 32 were drug users, including a woman and a cripple.
